General Rules

  • Production files should be sent in PDF, EPS, TIF, JPG formats
  • For production files we prefer the use of CMYK + any colors from the Pantone palette (with the indication of the applied Pantone color). This applies to all design elements (fonts, vector graphics, raster graphics and images)
  • WAll texts / fonts must be in vector form (conversion of text to curves)
  • It is required to use bleeds. In case of simple works, bleeds should be at least 3 mm from the net format
  • Cutting / format markers and - if any - creasing (like format lines - to begin outside the bleed area)
  • To ensure the aesthetics of realizations, it is advisable to place text or autonomous objects (logos, frames, etc.) at least 4 mm from the edge of the cutting / creasing / perforating
  • Should full saturation of colors from the Pantone palette be desired, assign the specific color to the value of 100%
  • Please note that in case of bilateral projects, during the execution the first page of the file will correspond to the reverse during printing
  • Color raster illustrations (photographs) contained in the publication should have a resolution of 262-300 dpi. Their working size should have a ratio of 1: 1.
  • With black and white raster illustrations, proceed as in case of color raster illustration.
  • Bar illustrations (line art). The resolution in this case should be 1200 dpi. Working size should be 1: 1.
  • Vector illustrations prepared in graphics programs should not cause any complications. However, you should pay attention to the traps and color overprints (e.g. so that white color is not printed over).
  • Avoid exceeding the limit of printing inks. The sum of imposed colors in CMYK for a coated substrate should not exceed 360%.
